Are you looking to kick-start your career?

Join the region’s leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants on our Non-Graduate Finance Apprenticeship scheme in Audit, working with friendly and supportive colleagues on a range of interesting and varied client assignments.

Why Audit?

One of the biggest pressures that can be imposed on companies is the mandatory statutory audit. The amount of information that needs to be submitted can be significant but, here at BHP, we view the audit as an opportunity to build on our existing ethos of being expert advisors intent on adding value to our clients’ businesses.

Our innovative use of data analytics can give business owners valuable insights into the operations and controls within their business. This tech-driven approach provides clarity for business decisions, based on sound data evidence.

Because we understand our clients and their businesses, they receive the best professional advice and assurance on their controls and accounting systems all year round.

We carry out statutory audits for companies within a wide variety of sectors. Whilst we have extensive experience with the special audit requirements of solicitors and insurance brokers, we also deal with the increasingly sophisticated audit requirements of friendly societies, charities and pension funds.

Through our networks, we provide a fully international service to organisations that trade abroad as well as to companies with overseas subsidiaries. We offer a global resource for auditing, accounting, taxation and advisory services.

At present, BHP is unable to provide sponsorship to individuals on the Skilled Worker visa (previously known as a Tier 2 (General) work visa). As an employer, we must check that an applicant is allowed to work in the UK before we can employ them. This means you’ll be asked to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK during our application process, and you must be able to obtain and maintain the right to work in the UK for the period of your employment with BHP.
