What is it worth?

Our valuations aren’t simply formulaic calculations.  We work with clients to understand the market, strategy and key drivers of the business involved whilst using our extensive knowledge and experience to overlay market data as appropriate.  This, alongside our detailed understanding of valuation theory, means you will obtain an independent, robust and appropriate valuation, compliant with CPR/CrPR/FPR (if required).

We can prepare a valuation on behalf of companies or private client in both contentious and non-contentious circumstances, including:

  • Shareholder and Partnership disputes and/or settlements
  • Pursuant to the requirements of articles of association, shareholder or partnership agreements
  • Share buy-backs
  • Pursuing or defending an unfair prejudice S994 claim
  • Other legal proceedings, including family, matrimonial, probate and estate

Our valuations advice helps clients understand the strength of their position, meaning clients are more informed during discussions and negotiations before any formal proceedings. We can also assist clients once formal proceedings have begun and, if appropriate, work alongside legal practitioners and other experts to support clients as a party expert, as well as provide expert evidence to Courts and tribunals.  We can also act as a Single Joint Expert.

We have more than 30 years’ experience in preparing valuations across a very wide spectrum of business types, sizes and sectors.
