There has been an update to the Academy Trust Handbook 2025 sections 5.12 and 5.13 to reflect guidance issued by HM Treasury in July 2025.
Please see the changes below:
ATH 5.12 – exit packages – the approval threshold for annual earnings has been increased to apply to employees earning over £174,000 pa ( from £150,000 pa).
All other thresholds remain the same
ATH 5.13 – confidentiality clauses – the guidance associated with staff severance payments has been updated.
