What is your role at BHP?
As Chief Information Officer (CIO) at BHP, I lead the firm’s digital strategy and innovation agenda. I joined BHP in August 2024, bringing over two decades of IT leadership experience to the role. I work closely with teams across all service lines to ensure our technology infrastructure supports both internal efficiency and exceptional client service.
What are you most passionate about?
I’m most passionate about using technology to empower people – whether that’s enabling our teams at BHP to work more efficiently and collaboratively or enabling them to provide a seamless client journey. I love seeing the impact that well-aligned digital strategies can have on a business’s success and resilience.
I’m also deeply committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. For me, it’s about staying curious, embracing change, and helping others feel confident as they navigate the evolving digital landscape.
What keeps you motivated?
The opportunity to drive meaningful change through technology. I thrive on solving complex challenges and seeing how innovative solutions can improve the way we work and collaborate. There’s something incredibly rewarding about turning ideas into action and helping teams unlock their full potential.
I’m also inspired by continuous learning – staying ahead of emerging trends, adapting to new tools, and always looking for ways to do things better. Working alongside passionate, forward-thinking colleagues makes every day engaging and energising.
What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
I love baking, reading, and spending time outdoors in nature.
