Lisa Leighton

What is your role at BHP?
I am the joint CEO with 30 years of experience in the business. I work primarily with the digital finance and audit teams at a service line level. Our client base consists of owner-managed growing businesses at various stages of their lifecycle. I support businesses by listening to their pain points and offering solutions, as well as introducing them to my extensive network to assist in resolving their issues.

What are you most passionate about?
Growing BHP to enable us to support our clients and be part of their growth journey. I also enjoy coaching and mentoring the team to help them grow in their career.

What keeps you motivated?
Every day is a different day for me in terms of the work I do - I love the variety of working directly with clients, supporting our team, and being part of running our own business.

What advice would you give trainees starting out?
Be curious. Enjoy working with different clients and ask questions. Don't be afraid to ask for help along the way. I have had so many people in my career who have helped me to get to where I am today, so don't be afraid to ask for help.
