What is your role at BHP?

I have been the BHP CFO for almost two years, with my primary focus being on our internal Financial systems and processes. My goal is to ensure that our teams have access to the necessary data to deliver the best possible experience to our clients.

What are you most passionate about?

I love being part of a team and a culture that really cares about each other. You see, the BHP values transcend every aspect of our organisation, making a huge difference to our workplace environment, employee motivation, and the extent to which work becomes enjoyable rather than just a job. This is what sets BHP apart.

What keeps you motivated?

I always want to do things better. My primary motivation each day is to think about ways that we can operate more efficiently and effectively, which should, in turn, free up more time to focus on the things that matter – be that employee satisfaction/engagement or the quality of service we can deliver to our clients.

What advice would you give trainees starting out?

The one thing that always makes someone stand out is the extent to which they care about their job. If you are passionate about what you do, always ask questions and try 100% every day; you will have an amazing career at BHP (and you will have fun at the same time).

What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?

Play golf and watch Arsenal (when the kids allow!)
