Martin Athey

Martin leads BHP’s due diligence team and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience. He has specialised in corporate finance for over 14 years, gaining wide ranging transactional experience on UK and cross-border acquisitions, fund raisings, disposals, and public flotations for clients such as owner-managed businesses, large corporates, PLCs and financial institutions.

Martin now concentrates solely on due diligence and prior to joining BHP he spent 13 years at a “Top 10” accountancy firm, most recently leading its Yorkshire and North East due diligence team.
