Director
Tim Brind
What is your role at BHP?
I specialise in lower mid-market M&A, supporting founder-led and privately owned businesses through significant growth and exit events. I focus on transactions in the £5m–£50m range and take a pragmatic, relationship-driven approach to ensure shareholders achieve the right commercial, strategic, and personal outcomes.
I lead deals from start to finish, covering sell-side and buy-side advisory, MBOs/MBIs, and growth capital fundraising. My expertise includes valuation, financial modelling, deal structuring, negotiation, and the coordination of legal, tax, and due diligence workstreams.
With extensive experience working alongside entrepreneurial management teams and private equity investors, I help simplify complex decisions and guide clients confidently through every stage of the deal process.
What are you most passionate about?
Supporting founders and shareholders to realise the value they’ve created, helping them navigate critical decisions with clarity and a focus on what matters most to them.
What keeps you motivated?
I’m naturally goal-driven and thrive on challenge. I know what an excellent client outcome looks like, and I’m committed to delivering it consistently.
What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Sport has always been a big part of my life. As a former Yorkshire county golf and tennis player, I’ve always enjoyed the competitive side of the game.
Today, my favourite weekends are spent watching my son discover his own love of sport, particularly football, with his friends, weather permitting!
