The Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be at the heart of ensuring accurate and efficient payroll and pension processes for our diverse range of clients. You’ll navigate a variety of payroll cycles with precision, maintaining compliance and delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full payroll cycle, including annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly payrolls for UK employees

Ensure precise and timely Real Time Information (RTI) submissions and year-end processing for HMRC compliance

Handle statutory deductions and administer employer pension schemes, maintaining strict adherence to UK payroll and pension legislation

Cultivate strong client relationships, resolving payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and accuracy

Maintain confidentiality while adhering to data protection standards

Person Specification:

2 years’ experience in a busy payroll role, ideally within a payroll bureau environment

Strong knowledge of UK payroll processes, tax regulations, and pension auto-enrolment legislation

A detail-oriented approach with excellent time management skills, ensuring deadlines are consistently met

A positive team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
