We’re recruiting now for an Accounts Senior to join our Healthcare Team in Chesterfield, providing a range of accounting services to our clients in the Healthcare sector.
The Healthcare Senior role is a wide-ranging and challenging position that requires an individual who is committed to and energised by client relationships, team and personal development as well as becoming a specialist in the Healthcare sector. The role will involve leading a portfolio of Healthcare clients, being a key point of contact for clients and providing quality deliverables to the senior members of the team.
Being a main point of contact for a portfolio of healthcare clients, including small 2 to 3 partner practices and individual tax returns;
You will be responsible for the review and finalisation of partnership, sole trader and limited company accounts, together with responsibility for delivery of more complex practices to the client portfolio manager;
You will be responsible for the review and finalisation of tax computations (partnership and corporate), capital allowance claims, personal expenses claims and personal tax returns, including delivery of more complex work to the client portfolio manager;
In delivering the above, you will be responsible for quality control of the team’s work by providing effective support and challenge;
Completion of NHS pensions annual certificates of pensionable profits and related estimates for own portfolio of clients as well as assisting others.
You will support the Managers/Senior Managers in engagement economics, including preparation of budgets and tracking against actuals;
Assisting with the supervision and development of trainees;
Managing your own time and that of others to meet deadlines and deliver an effective service to clients;

At least 3 years’ experience in practice

Healthcare experience preferred, but not essential, training can be provided
