Tax Advisory & Corporate Tax Opportunities

We’re looking for Tax professionals in our York, Leeds and Cleckheaton offices.

Whether you’re an established expert who wants to build on your existing skillset or an ambitious emerging leader, you’ll work with a varied client base, manage your own portfolio or projects, build lasting client relationships, mentor junior colleagues, and collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions.

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to practice development through networking, thought leadership and process improvement initiatives.

The roles we’re looking for are:

• Assistant Manager/Manager (Advisory)
• Senior Manager/Director (Advisory)
• Manager/Senior Manager (Large Corporate)
• Senior Manager (Corporate)

The Team:

Our tax team is one of the largest and most experienced in the region, with nearly 70 talented tax professionals working collaboratively across our offices in Chesterfield, Sheffield, Cleckheaton, Leeds, and York. Led by our Head of Tax and supported by a further six specialist Tax Partners, we bring together deep technical expertise, sector knowledge, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

• We know it’s frustrating when companies don’t advertise salaries, but we’re considering candidates at different levels for these roles, so pay is dependent on this, as well as previous experience. Our bandings are in line with market rate, and we’re dedicated to fair pay based on experience and internal equity. We’re happy to discuss expectations early in the process so we don’t waste your time

To thrive in these roles, you’ll need:

• ACA or CTA qualifications, or to be qualified by experience
• The ability to lead, coach and mentor junior colleagues
• Strong technical knowledge
• Previous experience working in the relevant area of Tax

Whilst not essential, we’re particularly keen to speak to candidates with:

• Experience across a breadth of taxes
• Experience in project management or process improvements
• For one of our roles, experience of clients with the following tax considerations: international tax matters,
  taxation of loan relationships, transfer pricing, large corporate groups, UK regulatory
  requirements for larger companies.
