Lesley Kendrew, Head of Academies at BHP will cover how to read and interpret financial statements, along with a practical overview of financial management responsibilities for trustees.

Mark Honeywell and Nick Moss from Womble Bond Dickinson will provide a refresher on Academy Trust governance, focussing on the legal structure of an academy trust, the roles of members, trustees and other stakeholders and the charity law, company law and other statutory duties owed by trustees.

This session is aimed at trustees and senior leaders of Academy Trusts.
