We’re recruiting now for a Marketing Assistant in Chesterfield.
As Marketing Assistant, you will support the Marketing team with a wide range of activities including events, digital, social media and the CRM system. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the basics of marketing and gain an understanding of what is involved within each specialist element of the team’s work.
Your Responsibilities:
Events
• Online events – set up zoom events, invite panellists, build feedback surveys, any admin needed included registering delegates and sorting presentations.
• In person events – Venue research, liaise with venue, formatting presentation. On the day collateral including sorting badges and delegate packs. Attendance at events.
Net Promoter Score (NPS)
• Collating data from internal systems to send out surveys
• Sending out the surveys using NPS platform
• Collate feedback
Digital
• Database management in CRM system
• Updating digital profiles such as Google Business and directories.
• Updating SEO tracking reports – checking positioning in Google.
• Pulling data from Google Analytics for the monthly KPI reports.
• Tracking Ops from the web enquiries in the CRM.
Social Media
• Collate the social media posts for weekly roundup.
• Ensure that we are following all relevant targets on our social media accounts.
Research
• Undertake research for the Business Development activities
General Admin
• Booking in photographer and sorting headshots and press shots when required.
• Picking up any admin work needed from the marketing team for the CSR committee and wellbeing team.
• Sort agenda for the sector meetings and take minutes as required.
Educated to A level standard (or equivalent)
At least 12 months’ experience in an admin role
A genuine interest in developing in a marketing role and willing to learn new skills
Accurate and organised
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Some experience of marketing is desirable, but not essential
